Teddy demonstrating at the DC Rock and Roll swap meet

Demo on the CBG, 8 hours long

We now know that Teddy can hold his own with the greats of the past. He played the cigar box guitar for about 8 hours straight. There was lots of interest in the sound and music he was playing. I still had a good time and will do something like this again.

We made a sale and so Teddy got some bells for his feet from his cut. He now has rythm. All he needs now is cymbals for his knees.

Back from the rock and roll swap meet

Whew, finished the 2 Ukuleles’ this morning. Had to install the strings on the way down.

Pictures of Teddy playing at our table. We should have charged $5.00 to stand and listen. Lots of interest and lots of people thinking about building their own. Not a lot of buyers. oh well…

5 guitars ready to go!

Ok, we now have 5 guitars finished, 2 ukes in progress and 3 other cigar box guitars working.

Will I be done by tomorrow? Yikes…got to go get busy..

Bridges

No pictures yet, but bridges are made. We used rosewood, slotted them for a bone nut and beveled the edges. They will look good.

Edit: The bridges are made. We slotted the rosewood, machined for thickness and then tapered the edges for a clean look. I still need to take a picture…
